MOSES PROJECT The Need Missionary work in southern Sudan is inherently grueling, with rustic living conditions, foreign tribal languages, and local indigenous culture The Solution Southern Sudanese refugees in the U.S. who are trained and supported as they return to southern Sudan as missionaries to their own people The Impact A well-trained and discipled southern Sudanese missionary, who then records 118 Bible stories and songs for the radio station project and trains 15-30 church leaders in his home area of Sudan in a long-term oral Bible school; those church leaders then have an immediate impact on the 30-600 members of their churches; conservative total projected impact reaches 1,500 people Cost per Missionary: $42,000 per year (total program cost) or 100 donors at $35/month Cost per Life Changed: $28.00 Projected Longevity: 3 years

PHILIP PROJECT The Need Missionary work in southern Sudan is inherently grueling, with rustic living conditions, foreign tribal languages, and local indigenous culture The Solution Near-culture Ugandan believers who are trained and supported as they cross the border to neighboring southern Sudan, quickly adapting to the language and living conditions The Impact A well-trained and discipled Ugandan missionary who trains 15-30 pastors in a long-term oral Bible school; those pastors then have an immediate impact on the 30-600 members of their churches; conservative total projected impact reaches 1,500 people Cost per Missionary: $3,000 per year (total program cost) or 10 donors at $25/month Cost per Life Changed: $2.00 Projected Longevity: 3 years

RADIO STATION PROJECT The Need With a literacy rate of less than 1%, southern Sudan has no way to readily receive the gospel The Solution The project begins with a base in Kampala, Uganda, an uplink to satellite, and a downlink to repeater stations across southern Sudan that broadcast Chronological Bible Storying, community health and development teaching, and local/world news in the local languages of the people The Impact An average of 325,000 people per repeater station, with a total projected network of sixteen stations and five million southern Sudanese (out of southern Sudan's nine million people) Cost per Repeater w/ 3 Years Broadcast Operations: $125,000-$135,000 Cost per Life Changed (Average): $0.40 Cost per Life Changed per Year (Average): $0.13

HAND-HELD RADIOS The Need In southern Sudan, only a small fraction of the population has access to a radio or the ability to receive the signal of Aid Sudan’s repeater stations The Solution Digital, solar-powered, hand-held radios, with a life span of up to twelve years, are distributed in repeater station coverage areas and tuned to receive only Aid Sudan’s local station The Impact An average of 10-15 people per hand-held radio Cost per Hand-Held Radio: $20.00 (includes radio manufacturing, transportation & distribution) Cost per Life Changed: $2.00 Projected Longevity: 12 years Cost per Life Changed per Year: $0.17

VILLAGE TO VILLAGE PROJECT The Need Across southern Sudan, most schools and clinics are held in mud huts or under trees and most water sources do not contain clean, purified drinking water The Solution Aid Sudan’s Village to Village Project gives a school, clinic, and water well to the neediest of villages in southern Sudan The Impact Approximately 5,000 people per village Cost per Village (dependent on location): $75,000-$95,000 (or average school at $37,000, clinic at $31,000, well at $17,000) Cost per Life Changed: $17.00 (or average school at $7.40, clinic at $6.20, well at $3.40) Projected Longevity: school at 10 years, clinic at 10 years, well at 3 years Cost per Life Changed per Year: $2.49 (or average school at $0.74, clinic at $0.62, well at $1.13)
