Αggeliki Pappa is an EFL-SEN Educator with postgraduate studies in inclusion

for SEN. She is the Founder and the Head Director of Studies of “i love dyslexia”

(ILD), the first and only highly specialized, innovative educational organization

internationally, focusing on holistic EFL teaching to students with dyslexia and

learning differences. She is a researcher and teacher trainer in international pro-

jects funded by the EU in association with Folkuniversitetet, Uppsala-Sweden

and for the last eight years she has been working voluntarily as a trainer of the

Greek public sector teachers on the field of EFL and dyslexia. She is a TEDx and

keynote speaker in many international conferences such as the 2nd Internation-

al Conference on Adolescent Medicine & Child Psychology where she presented

the ILD innovative method receiving recognition certificate and events such as

the upcoming scientific event “Educating for Peace” of the Hellenic Association

of Political Scientists-HAPSc during the Geneva Peace Week in the Palais de

Nations-United Nations. She has trained voluntarily all the FL School Advisors

in the premises of the Greek Ministry of Education and she provides voluntary

work to NGOs and other organisations. Aggeliki Pappa was a teacher trainer in

Experiential Education Workshop of the National and Kapodistrian University of

Athens and she is author of academic text books in the field of EFL and dyslexia.

She has been a SENCO in the private sector and she has been collaborating with

Harvard University’s Center for Hellenic Studies in Greece, University of Athens,

State School Advisors and other institutions. Her achievements have been rec-

ognized by the Greek Ministry of Education, the Ministry of Development, the

Hellenic National Commission for UNESCO (“ILD” was nominated for the UNES-

CO-Hamdan Prize), the 3rd Competition “Greece Innovates!” (ILD in the top 10

innovative institutions in Greece, the only one from the field of education) and

she has received numerous honorary distinctions like the ones by Ms. Marietta

Giannakou, former Minister of Education in Greece and President of the jury of

Education Business Awards 2016 and by the HAPSc which proclaimed her as

an HAPSc honorary member. Aggeliki Pappa is a member of the Rotary Club

and various educational associations. Also, she was placed in the Top 50 edu-

cators in the world for the Global Teacher Prize 2016, she is a Varkey Teacher

Ambassador for Greece and VTA leader of the literacy group collaborating with

Prof. Reimers from Harvard University, Graduate School of Education. Finally,

she has developed voluntary action for refugees, enforcing the message of the

imperative need to equal access for all to education with special events and the

creation of the first digital classrooms in Eleonas-Athens and Samos refugee

shelters, supporting the movement #NoLostGeneration and #WithRefugees.
