LAS VEGAS PRESS/ REVIEWS:

“Overall, Larry G Jones has the mosttechnically accurate Impressionist Voices in thebusiness. A phenomenal entertainer for theentertainment capital of the world” -Vegas4Locals.com

“His mannerisms & voices are dead-on, it is his comical parodies that set him apart. Unlike most impressionists Jones can readily switch his voice from men to women and back again” – Las Vegas Senior Press

The fast-moving show features about 70 impressions - everyone from Sammy Davis Jr., to Johnny Cash, to George W. Bush, to Bill Cosby to Cher get the Jones treatment. It never seems to matter whether the subject of his impersonation is male or female, high or low voice, all over the tabloids or a one-hit wonder from the '70s. Jones channels all his subjects with sensitivity and a sense of humor. Larry has an impressive vocal range and when he breaks into "I Can't Get Next to You," singing all four of the Temptations' vocal parts, it's not only hilarious, it's astounding.” - Las Vegas Magazine

“ impressions so full oHe was buzzing through f one-liners and comedic lyrics that you barely stopped laughing at the last one before he hit you with another zinger. Heir to Danny Gans.” -Accessvegas.com

“His talents are a strong rival to every other impressionist in Las Vegas. Jones has a masterful ability to manipulate his body, his face, and his voice. His routine gives us a fast paced and delightful romp through musical history, and we relive the times by hearing our favorite artists. He has the ability to do both male and female voices, and his rendition or Cher is a highlight in the evening!” -Ig oshows.com

“A High energy show that routinely elicits dozens of characters in rapid succession. As talented as many on the Las Vegas strip, -Las Vegas Sun

“Jones not only delivers terrific impressions, his comedic talent is well-timed and physically impressive. He's got the sound, facial expressions, the moves - and the talent. His parody of Johnny Cash's Ring of Fire is hilarious; likewise Julio Iglesias and Willie Nelson. His duet between Nat King Cole and daughter Natalie Cole is awesome.” -EverythingLV.com

“It's the delivery and comedic lyrics of the songs that make this show a winner. I’ve gotta tell ya, this guy can sing. Larry combines his great voice with a personality that marks this show's appeal. He could make it just as well as a singer who does impressions rather than an impressionist who sings” -LasVegas.com

“Entertainer of the Year” ~Larry G. Jones~

What a great show! Showman of the year, Larry G. Jones! The Florida State University Boosters chartered the Regent Navigator for May 10, 2008 through our company. They looked at us to bring entertainment up a level on our cruise and we in turn looked to Larry G. Jones. It meant that our client had to pay out more money and then hope that it was all worth it. We took a chance when we requested an impressionist that none of us had ever seen in person. However, after the first show, I breathed a sigh of relief and said “Thank God. What a fabulous show!”

Although I knew that the rest of Larry’s shows would be everything we hoped they would be, I had no idea that he would go beyond the call of “showman” as he entertained in various other ways throughout the week. Larry was more than a showman, he was a complete entertainer, because he went beyond what you see on stage as part of a show and incorporated the cruisers into his humor throughout the week. He even re-wrote his shows to encompass special jokes and issues that would pertain to this specific group. I think that the passengers left with a feeling that they got to know him in a way that made them all “friends”. To just see him approach would make you smile in anticipation of something fun to come. Even when Larry shared a serious part of his life during one show, it was not done to make us laugh at his deep misfortune in his life or to feel sadness, but rather to let us feel uplifted. Life is good. Every day that we spend with those we care about; every day that we do what we do best, it’s all good…it’s a reason to have joy and to laugh.

We got quite a bit more than we bargained for …than we paid for…we got the whole package…Nothing short of “Entertainer of the Year”.
