Guided ActivityTalk as a class and share stories where we have encountered strangers or where we might encounter strangers

Have the students talk in the table groups and write down some ideas for protecting themselves from strangers and what they should do if they encounter a stranger.

As a class they will share what they brainstormed and we will combine everyone’s ideas onto a large paper to hang in the classroom.

Evaluation

Informal: I will listen to what the students discuss when talking about how to avoid stranger danger. By creating the list as a class it will allow me to check for understanding about the topic.

Formal: Rubric
