LED pixels are able to share LEDs from neighboring pixels, creating new pixels, thus halving the distance from one pixel to another and virtually doubling the resolution of the display (ex: If you have a 20mm display with a 48 x 96 matrix, it’s virtual resolution would be double at 96 x 192). This results in smoother graphics (less blocking) and extremely dynamic and fluid video.

Non-Glare Module Design. Every effort has been taken to ensure a superior high contrast ratio in our module design. We start with a high quality material that is resistant to fading or cracking and apply a flat black coating that absorbs light. Next, our louver design is the key to creating a sharp, true black. This makes the colors in our displays more vivid and not washed out. Our modules consist of individual louvers shading each pixel from the sun above and mini louvers between each LED to deflect any stray sun rays and ambient light up or down. The acute detail in our module design results in a superior contrast ratio making our black a true black against our vibrant spectrum of colors.

Light Traps

Deflects the sun’s rays from above and shades the LEDs to maximize contrast. With the help of the Light Traps, any deflected rays are directed up or down.

Any ambient light coming straight at the LED display will be deflected up and down, away from the LEDs, to help with contrast.


Corrosion Resistant Conformal Coating. All of our electronics inside our signs are protected by a water, sea salt, dust, and corrosion resistant conformal coating. Even our power supplies have factory -pplied conformal coating to extend the life span and reliability of our LED displays. Our conformal coating is specially formulated to allow our electronics to stay cool and not overheat by trapping heat in.

“Did You Know”The two main enemies to LED displays that cause most of the malfunctions are heat and moisture.

Things to watch for:LED signs that do not protect their internal electronics with conformal coating will be prone to corrosion and repetitive premature failures. Signs that use thick protective silicone coatings on both sides of their LED modules that trap heat in the LED circuit boards.

Reliable PowerOur power supplies are rated among the best, but we sought to take it one step further by adding conformal coating inside. What does this mean? A protective coating on the electronics inside further protects the power supply from condensation and breakdown.

Our LED displays have an excellent ventilation system, but since power supplies are the first point of failure, this coating will help increase the life of the power supply by 25%.

It is the small details we pay attention to that will make our displays stay effective in the field for our clients and help eliminate downtime.


Our Internal Video PC Controller (powered by Intel) not only handles the most demanding of high resolution graphics and video, but features a scalable system. This means new modules, like unique scoring systems, zone mapping or RSS feeds, can be added upon request with ease. ARM based controllers are a closed system and are limited to the embedded modules, like limited video capability, number of fonts and presentation modes. Our Control Unit also features a large capacity solid state hard drive (SSD). The display content data is stored electronically on memory chips, rather than on a spinning magnetic disc like most LED sign controllers. No moving parts means less mechanical issues while accessing the stored data.

High Performance CoatingResilient. Dragon Skin™ is a more versatile, rugged and easy-to-use coating on our LED displays. The coating does not use Volatile Organic Chemicals (VOC) making it a safe and “green” alternative to typical paint applications. Dragon Skin™ results in a highly scratch-resistant coating which is flexible and allows for the general expansion/shrinkage seen in metal cabinets over time/temperature which will often cause other coatings to crack leaving the metal exposed to the environment and damaging the finish. Not only do we reduce the harmful elements of polyurethane paint from our factory and the atmosphere, but it’s one more step to support the Green Initiative by being environmentally responsible.
