InAdobeConnect,youcanconvertanddownloadarecordingofflineinMP4format.ThisconversionhappensonyourlocalsystemusingtheAdobeConnectadd-in.OnMac,onlyoneinstanceofadd-incanbelaunchedatatimesoyoucannotattendameetingwhilecreatinganofflinerecording.OnWindows,multipleinstancesoftheadd-incanbelaunchedsimultaneouslysoyoucanattendameetingwhileconvertingoneormorerecordingsoffline.

1. Logintohttp://villanova.adobeconnect.comandlocatetherecordingthatyouwanttoconverttoMP4format.

2. Fortherecordingyouwanttoconvert,click“Actions”toopenthepop-upmenuandclickMakeOffline.Therecordingwillthenbeopenedintheadd-inalongwithapop-updialog.

3. IntheOfflineRecordingdialog,selectMP4asanoutputoption(FLVisNOTrecommended).Also,selectthequalityusingeitherthesliderorbycustomizingthesettingsoftheoutputbyselectingAdvancedOptions.

Note:Itisrecommendedthatyouleaveallthevideoqualitypresetsandadvancedoptionsunchanged.

4. ClickProceedwithOfflineRecording.Browseandsavethefileinalocalfolder.Therecordingwillplayintheadd-inandgetconverttoanMP4file.Thisconversionprocessneedstotakeplaceinrealtimesoitmaybefairlytimeconsumingdependingonthelengthoftherecording–Pleaseallowforsufficienttimetocomplete.Adialogboxpopsupwhentheconversionhasfinishedandprovidesthedetailsoftheactualrecording.TheactualqualityandresolutionofthegeneratedMP4filedependsonyoursystemresourcesandmaybeequaltoorlowerthanthechosensettings.Checkthepop-updialogboxattheendfortheResolutionandtheFPSachieved.ThefinalrecordingcanbefoundattheoutputpathlocationlistedintheRecordingSummary.
