GRANT PROFESSIONAL ASSOCIATION ADMINISTRATIVE APPOINTMENT: MARY GRATTON, CUSTOM TRAINING SPECIALIST

WHEREAS, Mary Gratton, a Professional Association administrative employee, has successfully completed the probationary period and has received a satisfactory annual evaluation from the immediate supervisor, and;

WHEREAS, the College President recommends Mary Gratton receive an administrative appointment, and;

WHEREAS, the FLCC Board of Trustees Education & Planning Committee has reviewed and recommends the Board of Trustees approve this resolution;

NOW, THEREFORE BE IT RESOLVED, that the Finger Lakes Community College Board of Trustees does hereby grant an administrative appointment to Mary Gratton, Custom Training Specialist, effective April 27, 2020.

APPROVE THE MEMORANDUM OF UNDERSTANDING (MOU) BETWEEN FINGER LAKES COMMUNITY COLLEGE AND THE FINGER LAKES COMMUNITY COLLEGE FOUNDATION

WHEREAS, the Finger Lakes Community College Foundation (the Foundation); was originally incorporated by the State of New York Education Department on January 29, 1969. WHEREAS, the mission of the FLCC Foundation is to solicit, receive, and manage gifts and bequests to be used exclusively for the benefit of Finger Lakes Community College (the College), and cultivate friendships and partnerships that will benefit the College. WHEREAS, the Foundation Board members and the FLCC Board of Trustees have created the Memorandum of Understanding between the College and the Foundation to formalize the official relationship between the two partners and to provide a system of internal control and mutual compliance. WHEREAS, the FLCC Foundation Board Chair has reviewed this resolution and recommends its approval; NOW, THEREFORE BE IT RESOLVED, that the FLCC Board of Trustees does hereby approve the MOU between the College and the Foundation to establish the formal relationship between the two partners; and BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED, that copies of the resolution be sent to the FLCC President, Board of Trustees, and the Executive Committee of the FLCC Foundation.
