Adecco Social Responsibility
We participate in the UN Global Compact, aimed at companies who practice the ten principles of conduct and action regarding human rights, labor, environment and anti-corruption. Every year in August, we publish an update on our CSR activities and submit our Communication on Progress (CoP) to the UN Global Compact. The CSR Report is a full report, explaining the Adecco Group adapted CSR strategy and highlights the main initiatives on Group and country level.
Launched in 2005, the International Olympic and Paralympic Athlete Career Programme is offered by the International Olympic Committee (IOC) and the National Olympic Committees in co-operation with Adecco. It delivers support for: Olympic and Paralympic athletes making the transition from the field of play to the labour market. Over several years Adecco was HR-supplier for Olympic and Paralympic Committees (Sydney 2000, Turin 2006, Vancouver 2010, London 2012). In Russia Adecco is supplier of Olympic and Paralympic Games in Sochi 2014 in Temporary staffing.
Win4Youth, a global charity initiative of Adecco Group, which involves employees of Adecco Group and representatives of client companies around the world. In 2010 Win4Youth launched in Russia with a program to run. Over the past 3 years, project participants ran, rode a bike and swam more than 2 million miles in order to raise money for charity. For every kilometer, implemented by them, Adecco transfers the funds to the selected funds in different countries to help underprivileged children and young people to get an education and giving a chance for successful employment in the future.
