• The initiative has till date touched lives of many underprivileged students

• The schools provide world class education at absolutely free cost

• The curriculum followed at the schools is CBSE

• Along with educational excellence, the schools also provide free mentoring and counselling, transportation, uniform, textbooks and notebooks, breakfast, lunch and refreshments

• These institutes believe in facilitating students progress in academics as well as co-curricular activities like Khel Mahakumbh/Sports competitions, Maths/Science fairs, National days, World Environment day etc.

Finding a way where there is strong will

• Strict enrollment process ensures that only academically competent and economically challenged students are admitted

• Parents are counselled along with students to make them part of the journey of their child’s development and achievements

• Teachers act as mentors and help provide right direction to each student along with helping them strive for academic excellence

Making a Difference

• Adani Vidya Mandir, Bhadreshwar was set up with the objective to provide free education to children of fishermen and economically challenged parents

• Along with free education, students are provided with free uniforms, books, notebooks, meals (under the mid day meal scheme), milk, fruits

• Educational training of Teaching volunteers is facilitated by the Foundation

• Through various initiatives the foundation also works towards spreading awareness about education of girl child, providing amenities to decrease school drop outs and proving employment opportunity to rural youths

Nurturing sports talents

• Krupali Joshi, a class 10th student of AVM is a naturally gifted athlete, however financial constraints of her family stopped being a factor in her life and it allowed her to become a better sports person and emerge as a star athlete.

• Her athletic talent was nurtured at AVM while she received financially free education

• At AVM she also benefitted from proper guidance, mentoring and nutritious and wholesome diet provided to all the kids

• She has gone on to represent the school in many prestigious sports events held at the state, national, and international levels earning laurels for her as well as the institution.

Unique Opportunities

• Global Student exchange programs:

In a bid to help bright students of Adani Vidya Mandir learn better and get exposure to the global world, they were sent for student exchange program to Slovenia

• Meeting with Sports legends:

An initiative by UNICIEF brought together team members of the Delhi DareDevil IPL team to Adani Vidya Mandir to promote awareness regarding girl child education
