Upload any completed work to blog.
Review work together that was completed individually.
Tasks
Review:All the tasks have been completed and reviewed before we added them to our blogs. We have decided to review work which have done individually to make sure there are no mistakes made and to check if anything is missing, which will improve the quality of our work.
Tasks
Tuesday 7th July
Begin second analysis of music video ‘Ed Sheeran – Thinking Out Loud’ on Prezi ‘Sam Smith – Stay With Me’ on Emaze
Review the extended tasks that was completed.Review:-One of the analysis have been started, however as for the other one we decided not to do it as we are only analysing 3 music videos instead of 4, due to the lack of time, as the textual analysis take a while to complete because of the high amount of detail they include. This will allow us to focus more on planning as well as completing some of the extended tasks, to extend our knowledge and grade. -The extended tasks have been completed and reviewed before uploading them onto our blogs. We presented them differently as we used the programme ‘Haiku Deck’. This presentation software was easy to use and enabled us to create simple and effective presentation about Michael Shore and Sven E Carlsson theories, which will be useful when planning our own music video as we could apply these theories in order to make our video successful.
Tasks
Thursday 9th - Friday 10th July
Continue with analysis of music videos, ensure to link them to different theories, and refer to the previous completed analysis for effective structure of presentation.
Make the analysis appealing, and engaging, rather than simply using text. Use a range of images, videos and possibly animations that relate to the particular song.
Review:In terms of these tasks, we are still continuing with the last textual analysis. This is taking more time than we though as the analysis is quite detailed and we are ensuring it is presented in an appealing manner, making it more engaging. PowerPoint is a simple and quick programme to use whereas other programmes like Prezi, Final Cut Pro or Emaze allow us to be more imaginative and can upload them straight onto our blogs by using the embedded code, whereas with PowerPoint we first have to upload it to Slide Share which can become time consuming.
