The  costume  which  Stallone  is  wearing  shows  that  he  is  ready  for  combat  and  knows  what  is  about  to  happen.  I  believe  he  is  a  seeker  hero  because  the  suit  he  is  wearing  shows  me  that  he  understands  what  he  has  to  do  and  there  is  surprise  in  what  may  happen  to  him.  

There  is  a  gun  in  his  hand  I  can  infer  from  this  that  there  is  about  to  be  combat  an  violence  or  that  there  has  been  combat  and  violence  

The  ligh<ng  shows  that  it  is  quite  dark  which  creates  a  suspense  and  jeopardy.  Which  shows  that  the  are  in  some  sort  of  trouble.  Which  gives  the  audience  suspense.  The  is  also  a  tense  mood  because  the  person  she  is  talking  to  is  in  the  dark.  This  shows  it  is  tense.  The  temporal  awareness  is  at  night.

The  use    of  the  costumes  show  that  this  is  western  film  which  suggests  that  this  film  contains  some  violence  as  most  people  associate  the  wild  west  with  violence  and  ac<on.  

There  is  a  dead  body  on  the  floor  with  a  firearm  next  to  it  which  shows  there  are  elements  of  violence  and  conflict  within  the  scene.      

A  man  stands  at  the  forefront  of  the  shot    looking  down  at  the  body  directly  while  civilians  in  the  background  stare  in  shock  at  what  has  happened.  This  suggests  he  is  the  main  character  and  has  sort  of  power/leadership  over  others.

This  film  rejects  the  stereotypical  gender  role  of  having  a  male  character  as  the  sole  main  protagonist.  As  a  female  is  a  seeker  hero  which  is  extremely  unique  throughout  the  film  industry,  this  yet  again  will  draw  viewers  in  as  it  creates  a  sense  of  mystery.  It  makes  the  viewer  wonder  what  she  could  possibly  be  searching  for,  and  how  a  female  will  be  portrayed  throughout  the  film  of  being  a  hero  rather  than  an  object  of  desire.    

This  shot  is  a  long  shot  in  order  to  highlight  the  ‘magical’  seMng  around  the  main  character.  This  is  also  done  to  show  her  body  language  as  she  appears  to  be  in  need  and  searching  for  something  as  she  gazes  into  the  distance.  The  <me  period  of  this  scene  also  creates  suspense  as  the  night  is  usually  linked  with  conflict  and  is  usually  more  nega<ve  than  during  the  day.
