different transport modes.
A linear weighted summation of satisfaction forthe constituent attributes of the transport mode. SATISFACTION = §(Wi*ASi)/ §Wi
Attributei Satisfaction (ASi) = G (LOSi, Preference, Age,Gender, Disability Status, Occupation, (Prior Transport
Experience Variables)i).
Validated and found to be sensitive to userpreferences.
Useful in pre-selecting transport alternatives.

Capability Profiles Capability levels relate to the ability of a
person (physical and/or mentally) to perform
the actions required for a travel activity. Capability profiles show the range of ability
levels for a given action (e.g. step heights) for agiven user group.
My current work is the operationalization of thisconcept. Identifying the task-abilities.
Developing methodology.
Conducting experiments on a pedestrian simulation laboratory(P AMEL A) at UCL.
