    Durante este recurso se trabajará sobre las descripciones de las personas, se

    conocerá como utilizar los adjetivos y vocabulario específico. Se estudiará el futuro

    simple para hacer predicciones y expresar deseos o propósitos de futuro y se

    estudiará el presente histórico.

    Se trabajará de forma colaborativa y participativa, esto significa que la fuente de

    conocimiento surgirá de la interacción entre compañeros y compañeras a través de

    la realización de las diferentes actividades propuestas. Para que el trabajo sea

    óptimo, se seguirán las pautas y orientaciones indicadas en cada una, a través de

    la consulta de recursos web y enlaces proporcionados como fuentes de información.

  • Students

    To start off In this resource, Luisa and Miguel give descriptions. They like to describe people.

    The resource is divided into four activities:

    Activity 1: You are going to describe yourself with adjectives and verbs.

    Activity 2: You are going to explain about yourself and other people in a

    biography.

    Activity 3: Do you know what the future simple is used for? In this activity

    you are going to learn about it.

    Final activity: This is the final activity. You are going to make two audio

    files describing a new friend.

    At the end of this resource, you will have done several types of activities: you will

    have to work on your own or with classmates, you will have to think, go a step

    further if you want more information, and evaluate yourself, etc.

    These are some of the skills you will be practising throughout this resource:

    You will learn to use the present simple and the future simple.

    When and how to use these tenses.

    In some activities you will work in pairs and in others you will work on your

    own.

    In all cases, you should value and respect the different opinions of your

  • Do the activities included in the chapter called "Introductions". Take screenshots of

    each activity you do (you can use GIMP), paste them into a text document and

    then, send it to your teacher by email or webmail.

    Do the activities included in the chapters called "The Human Body 1" and "The

    Human Body 2". You will learn a lot of vocabulary on the parts of the human body

    and about descriptions, too. Take screenshots of each activity you do (you can use

    GIMP), paste them into a text document and then, send it to your teacher by email

    or webmail.

    Finally, write a description about yourself in a text document, using vocabulary and

    structures from the materials you have just worked with. The description must also

    contain some reference to the senses and to three different parts of your body. For

    example, "I have long arms and short hair".

    Once you have finished, send the text document with the description to your

    teacher by email or webmail.
