CAF manages US$ 5 billion for 480,000 donors & 50000 charities worldwide on behalf of donors and civil society organisations.

More than US$2m is given through CAF each day.

CAF India is a registered Indian public trust working in India since 1998

Last year (2007 – 2008), CAF India helped more than 3,500 donors support over 100 non profits across 14 states in India

Shyamala, a former journalist, is a long time donor of CAF charities.

She has set up three Donor Advised Funds with CAF India.

Shyamala set up a Donor Advised Fund to help disadvantaged

inmates at Tihar Jail, Delhi's largest prison. With her support, the Aids

Awareness Group was able to provide free legal aid to both Indian

and foreign prisoners. She also set up a fund with Family of Disabled

(FOD) to help people with disabilities has been a generous supporter

of the Animal India Trust.
