Orthopaedic surgeons in general and specialty practice who want to build proficiency in their arthroscopic and reconstruction skills for the elbow.

At the conclusion of this course, learners should be able to:

• Perform clinical evaluation of complex elbow disorders

• Choose appropriate patient positioning and operating room setup for advanced surgical procedures

• Demonstrate safe surgical approaches to the elbow

• Manage patients requiring trauma reconstruction including fractures of the distal humerus, radial head, coronoid and olecranon

• Perform adult reconstruction arthroplasty for both trauma and arthritis

• Recognize pitfalls of elbow surgical techniques and how to avoid complications

• Compare new approaches for elbow arthroplasty with traditional techniques
