Students love to play games on the computer

Students want graphics, sounds, and movement

Teachers want their students to be engaged

Teachers want their students to learn

Page 8: A Visit with mortimer

SO WHY NOT . . .

Engage students with the use of ALICE 2.2; a quick and fairly easy way to program a presentation.

Allow students to enjoy having content presented in a variety of ways by a variety of characters.

Give the students the chance to love the graphics, sounds, and movement.

Allow students to be engaged.

Encourage the students to take ownership of and responsibility for their learning process.

“Teach smarter, not harder.”

Give ALICE 2.2 a try.
