Silent Auction Information Bidding!

• You may bid as often as you wish on as many items as you wish.

• Each item has a starting minimum bid and a bid increment amount. Please observe these requirements.

• To bid on an item, write down your Bidder Number and the dollar amount of your bid.

• Please bid in whole dollar amounts.

• Bids may not be withdrawn once they are entered on the Bid Sheet.

• To submit an increased bid, fill out another line on the Bid Sheet – please don’t scratch out your original bid.

Winning!

• Auction bid sheets will be processed by our volunteers as soon as the auction categories start closing. We have to process all of them before we can start the check out process (as a good number of people will have won multiple auction items).

• Printed lists of auction winners will be posted around the venue. Please check the list. There is no need to wait in the check out line if you did not win anything.

• To pay for the auction items that you have won, please go to the Check Out table downstairs.

• For auction items that are not physically at SPROUT, the Winner is responsible for contacting the Donor to arrange pick-up or fulfillment of the item(s). Donor contact information will be included in the winner’s Check Out packet.

Auction Rules

• All sales are final.

• All payments must be made in full by cash or check.

• Auction items not paid for cannot be removed from the auction.

• Bidders need not be present at the end of SPROUT to claim items. If you need to leave before you are able to Check Out, please pick up an “Early Departure” Letter on your way out- it will provide details about claiming your auction items after the event.

• All auction items must be paid for within one week of SPROUT or they will be forfeited to the second highest bidder.

• The Purchaser waives any claims of liability against Waltham Fields Community Farm, the Auction Committee, or the Donor for any items purchased.

Farm Raffle, Bean Game & Items for SaleFarm Raffle

In addition to the regular silent auction format, guests are able to purchase low-cost raffle tickets and place them in plant pots in front of gifts they want to win.

Please write your bidder number on the back of each ticket you purchase. Before the night is over, we’ll draw one winner for each prize and post the winning bidder numbers. Winners who have left before the drawing is held will be contacted after the event is over.

Living Fence Guessing Game – Prize is $50 worth of scratch tickets in a beautiful clay planter!
