INTRODUCING

D R I L L I N G S A F E T Y R E D E F I N E DLiftshield, by Unibor, is an innovative new magnetic safety system that is de-signed to prevent the dangerous potential of magnet failure. Liftshield works in an elegantly simple way; if the magnet does not have enough grip to create a safe drilling environment, the motor will not operate. Any machine in the Unibor offering where the ‘Liftshield’ logo appears comes Liftshield equipped.

1 Magnet has sufficient grip, creating a strong magnetic field. The motor will run and operate as normal.

2 Motor will not start / will shut off if: Material is painted, too thin, or too corroded to create a strong enough magnetic field OR magnet lifts off during operation, protecting the user from injury.
