There is an overall feeling of suspense. This is a close up of the investigator looking at evidence. His expression suggests that he is confused/shocked. This clip is shown from the protagonists point of view, this point of view allows the audience to become more involved in the plot and feel closer to the characters. In the shot we are introduced to one of the main actors. This is a mid shot. We can interpret from this picture that he is also a investigator. The types of clothing are very typical and generic. This is a close up of the mans glasses. The glasses shows intellect, Taking of the glasses shows that he is done working for the day.

In this long shot the main investigator is lying in bed. This shows his “unprofessional” side. His facial expression looks stressed and tired. The mise en scene shows an average bedroom for a adult man.

This is a close up of the metronome. The man uses the metronome to drift of to sleep. This shows that he is stressed over work. The metronome is a symbol of peace and calmness.
