Students are expected to be on time to their classes

Referrals, detentions, ISS, or OSS can be assigned for too many tardies

As a student you are required to attend school everyday and if not, please notify your teacher or the office before hand

Unexcused absences will lead to… Detentions, ISS, or OSS. You might have to write a paper about why you weren’t there. You could also end up going to Juvenile Hall

• 3 ring notebook• Wide or college ruled paper• 12 #2 wood pencils (mechanical pencils are ok) with pencil top

eraser• Crayons, colored pencils, and/or markers• Pencil pouch for 3 ring notebook• 2 erasable ink pens (black and blue)• 2 red ink pens• Scissors • 4 spiral notebooks• 2 glue sticks• Solar calculator• Flash drive • Pee Chee Folder

•Please replenish school supplies as needed

•Some classes need other supplies

• Write all your assignments and homework in planner

• Have your planner signed each night by a parent or guardian

• Keep a close eye on the due dates of assignments

• Pace yourself through long term projects and don’t put it off until the last few days

• Planners will be checked weekly in Choice

Hall Behavior• Walk in the halls• Keep to the right side of the hall• Treat others with respect and courtesy• Talk quietly• Keep the halls clean• No fighting or pushing otherwise known as “Road Raging”• Cameras will record all hallway behavior• 4 minute passing time—plan ahead if you have long routes to

classes• No large group gatherings in the hall• No open containers

• Keep your locker clean

• No “rigging” your locker

• Your locker is a privilege that can be taken away

• If your locker gets stuck, ask the janitor or a teacher to come and help you

• You can decorate your locker

• Only visit locker during passing time

• Talk quietly, and be quiet for announcements

• Keep your hands to yourselves

• Wait to be dismissed

• Clean up after yourself, it’s not other peoples’ job to clean up after you

• Eat healthy meals (no energy drinks)

Bus Rules• Walk on the sidewalk to the bus

• Be ready to board the bus on time

• The bus leaves 10 min. after school gets out

• Obey your driver’s rules

• Go to the restroom only during passing periods—only miss class time in an emergency

• Ask permission and ask for a pass if an emergency and SIGN OUT

• Keep the restroom clean• Report vandalism—cameras view the

entrances to the restrooms and indicate time• Contact an adult when there are problems

• No touching other people• No threatening other people (even joking)• No weapons (any knife is considered a weapon)• No smoking on school grounds AT ALL• No alcohol or drugs (including prescription or

store-bought medication)• Cell phones/electronic devices not allowed

(7:30am-2:30pm)• No skateboarding on school grounds• Remember to respect your teachers and peers

at all times

• Be an excellent student for your teacher– Follow instructions– Show your teacher you appreciate them– Express disagreements or frustration in the right time, place, and

manner

Excellence in the Halls/Lunchroom/Outside

• Take care of the school:– Pick up garbage, even if it’s not yours– Smile and say hi to others—even if you don’t know or

like them– Respect others’ space, keep hands and feet to

yourself

• Report inappropriate behavior you see to your teacher or the office

• Find a way to make someone’s day every day
