Notarize the company’s Memorandum of Association in DEDMemorandum of Association will be online and visiting notary public office will be optional.

Submit the company registration application and the proposed company name to the Department of Economic Development (DED)

WB report 2009-2010 in DB was received
DED Presented the WB findings to The Executive Council and recommended Dubai DB
Dubai team was formed to deal with the WB Indicators
DED team was assigned to map out the existing processes, and use WB report as a benchmark.

What did we do to improve start up business. • Establishing internal team, in line with
Dubai DB to deal with World Bank Indicators.
• Removing AED 300,000 initial capital.• Eliminating bank certificate for initial
capital.• Eliminating smart chip from the trade
license.• Eliminating auditor letter.• reducing 20% of license fees for new
businesses and renewed licenses.
The transition from traditional registration to Eservices. • Online trade name reservation.• Renew trade name after 60 days if
needed.• Electronic initial approval .• online license renewal.• Electronic trade license together with
the online payment .• Electronic certificate of Dubai Chamber
along with trade license.• Integration with local government
