MSM GROUP Ltd. was established by transformation of MSM Martin Ltd., which dealt with construction, development, production and sales mainly with military material. MSM Martin Ltd. in the last few years took over several military companies located in the middle of Slovakia, and built on its traditional manufacturing activities in military and civil production.

Due to ZVS inclusion into the group structure we can state that the origin of MSM GROUP Ltd. comes back to 1927 when then Škoda Works in Plzeň, as a monopoly producer of ammunition decided to build so called „spare factory“ in Slovakia. The company was totally destroyed during the World War II, and it took several years while the production was restored to such extend, that its products were supplied not only for the Ministry of National Defence, but for many countries worldwide as well.

Today the MSM GROUP Ltd. makes use of rich experiences from the past and know-how of highly qualified workers and vast archive of technical documentation for all necessary procedures.

In 2009 the biggest Czech military holding EXCALIBUR ARMY entered MSM as a co-owner.

WHY TO COOPERATE WITH US:

More than 70 years experiences in the ammunition development, production and complete services in this field.

Long tradition in the MSM locations for the ammunition production processes with significant effects as the deep skilled personal, support industries, development fields, education etc.

60 mm Mortar ANTOS-LR The 60 mm mortar ANTOS-LR designed to reinforce fire power of the paratroops, recco and special units. It serves as a supporting artillery weapon of military units at squad or platoon level.

ANTOS-LR mortar assemblies:

Barrel with muzzle matrix,

Breech ring:– Safety mechanism,– Initiation mechanism,

Base plate with loops for back-pack carrying:– Plastic variant,– Al variant,

Bipod:– Barrel hoop,– Spring buffers,– Elevation mechanism,– Traverse mechanism,– Cross-level mechanism,– Sight holder,- Carrying part.

Sight with case:- Type MUM 6400 (mils) or 6000 (dc)

60 mm Ultralight Commando Mortar ANTOS ANTOS mortar is an extremely light weapon designed for paratroops and special units. Most parts are made of aluminium alloys and plastic materials. The firing mechanism is trigger type with fixed striker. The handgrip with trigger allows easy carrying and firing in oval and flat trajectories. The liquid sight shows directly the range for both charges. Modular design enables production of various configurations.

Liquid sight:

Liquid level against the scale shows directly the range of fire for primary and full charge of the 60 mm mortar bombs delivered with the ANTOS mortar. Sight scale is divided; half of the scale for each charge with marked ranges of fire for the applied charge without need to use standard range tables.,

81 and 98 mm Light Towed Mortar The Mortar is designed to be used in a forested and mountainous terrain as well as urban areas. It consitsts of three major assembly parts that can be easily assembled and/or disassebled and carried by a crew of three.

The mortar features a long range and high effi ciency in a target area. It can also be transported using a specially designed single axle trailer fi tted with mortar bombs containers and 1:1 spare parts sets. The trailer can be towed without limitations at a maximum allowed speed of a towing vehicle on roads or off -road.

120 mm Vehicle-towed Mortar Pram/L Vehicle-towed mortar Pram/L is designed to render harmless and destroy people, enemy fi ring facilities, anti-tank weapons, light armoured hardware, light shelters and to create passage-ways in barricades and minefi elds.Pram/L is operated by three men of asquad and transported including the operators by a goods vehicle. For the transport of the mortar by towing the max. transport speed on 1st and 2nd Class roads depends on the.

Main components and Description of design:

Barrel: It is smooth (without grooves). At the gunpoint of the barrel there is a device against charging two shells, and at the lower part is the back side of barrel with the feed mechanism.

The barrel back side is ended with a ball pivot connecting the bearing.

Bearing: It is transmits power from ashot into the land and at the same time it turns the barrel around in case of any change of traverse and elevation. It is a weldment of a box structure ensuring mortar stability.

Basement: It is a tubular structure with gearing enabling the adjustment of barrel to the required position at traverse and elevation.

Vibration damper: Since during the shooting the barrel (together with the bearing and some soil) makes a sliding motion with high acceleration, between the barrel and basement there must be a flexible vibration damper to prevent the destruction of the sight and other mechanisms on the basement. After the shooting has ended, the vibration damper must fi x the basement against the barrel to the original position.

Sight: Mortar Pram/L uses Bulgarian sight MUM, with weight 0.90 kg, magnifi cation 2.5x, fi eld of view 9° and resolving capacity 25“.

Chassis: A simple chassis is designed for the transport of mortar. It is an unsprung chassis with a very simple tubular structure, composed of apole and cross-beam, whereas at a suitable angle of cross-beam arms and tyre infl ation, suitable transport stability was reached. The mortar is attached onto the chassis using quick-closing devices and the bearing is attached using belts, so it is possible to get the gun into position by lifting up the chassis pole.

81 mm and 98 mm HE Mortar Bomb The 81 mm and 98 mm mortar bombs are fired from towed mortars.

120 mm HE Mortar bomb The 120 mm mortar bombs can be fired either from towed or self-propelled mortars.

The mortar bombs can are fired fitted with PD fuzes MZ-95M and MZ-81M respectively.

The fuze type MZ-95M is nose point detonating fuze, designed fo high-explosive mortar ammunition. The fuze can be set on superquick or delayed action according to required effect on target (fragmentation/bursting). The fuze is pyrotechnical with detonator safety.
