Green Tea

It is said that the Chinese have been using green tea as a natural medicine for over 4000 years. The health benefits of green tea are more numerous than any other superfood I can think of. In the past decade it has become more and more famous and for

good reason. Green tea has been scientifically proven to reduce heart disease, diabetes, bad cholesterol levels, Alzheimer's,

Parkinson’s, depression, tooth decay, blood pressure and even cancer. What makes green tea so unique is the fact that it is rich

in catechin polyphenols, particularly epigallocatechin gallate (EGCG). This is a very powerful antioxidant that kills cancer cells

without harming healthy tissue.

Milk Thistle and Dandelion Tea

These are actually two different types of teas that contain similar health benefits. Milk thistle and dandelion both cleanse

and detox the liver. Dandelion leaves are full of vitamins and minerals including vitamin A, vitamin K, vitamin C, calcium,

potassium, manganese and iron. It is also commonly used as a natural diuretic. Milk thistle has protective effects on the liver and it’s function mainly due to the presence of silymarin, an
