Bad Composition

The content of the picture as well as the proposition of the subject, foreground, and background will decide the quality of your photography.

A good picture should give maximum space to the subject.

Although there is no mathematical calculation, almost 85% of your photograph should be occupied by your subject.

You can even consider blurring your background so that your subject gets the most attention.

Level Of Camera

Most amateur photographers often perceive that they have to keep their digital photography equipment such as their camera close to their eyes.

This is true, however; you have to make sure that the camera is at the eye level of your subject’s eye and not yours.

When you are clicking a dog, knee down to reach its eye level and when you are shooting a person taller than you, stand on a platform.

Improper Lighting

The right light is what you need to capture an awesome moment. Balance any dim or bright light by using digital photography equipment such as lighting bulbs, reflectors, softboxes, barndoors, and much more.

Flash photography causes red eye so if possible avoid it as much as possible. If you are shooting in the daylight always have the sun behind you.

For indoor photography, diffuse your studio light to get rid of unwanted shadows and hot spots.

For lighting your subject’s face, use reflectors.

Camera Not Stabilized Properly

Unwanted camera movements can cause blurriness and spoil your work completely. Minimize your camera shake to get clear sharp photos.

For this, you need to use tripods or monopods. If you don’t have any of these, place your camera on a stable surface and use a remote shutter release.

The core idea is to stabilize your camera as much as possible.
