4 Spirits Distillery Social Media Policy Description This social media policy outlines for employees our corporate guidelines for communicating in the online world. This policy includes guidelines to be used while creating and sharing content on the 4 Spirits Distillery social media accounts and website, while also providing suggestions on how to maintain personal social media sites in order to represent the 4 Spirits Distillery brand to the best of your ability. For the purposes of this policy, social media means any facility for online publication and commentary, including blogs, the company website and social networking sites. This policy is in addition to and complements any existing policies regarding copyright and privacy. Mainstream media inquiries must be referred to Dawson Officer, owner of 4 Spirits Distillery. Please keep in mind that our overall goal is to participate online in a respectful, relevant way that protects our reputation and, of course, follows the law. Employees who violate this will be subject to disciplinary action. 4 Spirits Distillery Spokespeople When acting as an official 4 Spirits Distillery spokesperson and posting on behalf of the company on social media, we expect you to: 1. Obtain the permission to use 4 Spirits Distillery’s social media accounts from Dawson Officer, owner of 4 Spirits Distillery, or Shanan LeBre, director of sales and marketing for the state of Oregon.

Use your common sense and best judgment. Do not share content that may be considered harassment, threatening, obscene, etc. 3. Be transparent and disclose your affiliation with the distillery. How exactly you make this disclosure may vary depending on the circumstances and the platform. 4. Never identify a customer, partner or supplier by name without permission. This also pertains to sharing photographs. Make sure to gain individuals permission when you plan on taking and sharing photos of them on 4 Spirits Distillerys social media sites. 5. Respect copyrighted material, trademarks, publicity rights or other rights. Do not use content without the necessary permissions of the rightsholder(s). 6. If the company receives a negative comment online, do not reply immediately or emotionally. Instead, consult company leadership if needed, avoid creating an argument and respond in a positive and timely manner. 7. Remember the Internet is permanent and your local posts can have significance across the U.S. Therefore, remember to think how other may perceive your post before publishing. 8. If you are unsure about something you are posting, check with company leadership for approval. Personal Use of Social MediaWhether you are an authorized company spokesperson or not, when youre talking about our company, our brands, or our business on your personal social networks, keep in mind that: 1. 4 Spirits Distillerys information protection policy and other policies still apply. 2. It is important that you keep company and personal accounts separate. 3. You are responsible for your actions. We encourage you to be active online, but use sound judgment and common sense. Do not misrepresent the company or speak on behalf of the company. 4. You are an important ambassador for the 4 Spirits Distillery brand and youre encouraged to promote it, as long as you make sure you disclose that you are affiliated with the company. How you disclose depends on the platform, but the disclosure should be clear and in proximity to the message itself. Many social media users include a prominent disclaimer saying who they work for, but that theyre not speaking officially.5. Do not use any copyrighted work without permission, including any 4 Spirits Distillery logos, communication tools, etc. 6.
