4 Rookie Mistakes That Will Keep You From Writing A
Bestseller
MESSENGER:
82% of Americans want to write a book. That's an insanely high number. But you
know what's even crazier?
Only 2% of them actually write it?
I don't even know what the stats are for those that publish and become bestselling
authors. My guess is 0.1% at best.
What's worse is that those that do finish generally make these rookie mistakes that
keep them from making any sales, having an impact in their market, or getting the
credibility and exposure that they wanted in the first place.
So, let's dive in...
Rookie Mistakes When Writing Your First Book
1. You can't say what your book is about in ONE
sentence.
Most aspiring authors can't say exactly who their book is for,
how it benefits them and the result that they're going to get in
reading it in one sentence. As a result, their book has no clarity
and they end up trying to stuff everything into the book on the
topic, instead of being laser clear on what needs to be included
and what needs to be excluded from the book. If you're a
business owner who is serious about becoming a bestselling
author and you want me to personally take you through a
powerful process so you know EXACTLY what your book is
about and what your market want, fill out an application here to
chat and see if you qualify to become a bestselling author:http

2. You have no system to write your book quickly
I can't tell you how many people I have talked to that have
been writing their books for 2, 3, 5 years or more. If you're a
business owner writing a "how-to" book, let me just tell you that
it does not need to take that long. That's crazy. I wrote my book
in 20 days because I had a system in place to help me know
exactly what I needed to do every day of the week to get it done.
3. You have no accountability
Here's a fact. Writing a book can be tedious. There are a
million other things you could be working on. If you don't have
someone (a coach, a friend, a mentor, or a big fat ugly
consequence) to hold you accountable, your book will never get
done. There will always be something else that comes up.
4. "It has to be perfect"
Oh you know who you are "Everything has to be perfect"
person. I get that you're a perfectionist but let's be honest. Are
you getting shit done? Is your message getting out into the
world. It wasn't until I let go of my perfectionism and put
accountability in place that I was able to write my book in 20
days. Before that, I was all talk. Your book doesn't need to be
perfect. Yes, people will critique typos afterwards, but would
you rather spend years making it perfect or become a
bestselling author that makes an impact with his or her
message and gets paid to do so?
MESSENGER,
I'm looking for an elite group of business owners that want to make a
MASSIVE impact in their marketplace by sharing their message through a
bestselling book, so they can get paid to speak, increase their fees, and
become the pivotal voice in their industry. Is that you? If so, then don't wait.
Let's chat about making you a bestselling author in the next 30-90 days.
