360 degree safe Cymru guidance

What is the 360 degree safe Cymru e-Safety self-review tool?

The 360 degree safe Cymru e-Safety self-review tool allows schools to review

their e-Safety policies and practice and:

• benchmark their results against other users

• access template policies

• access links to good practice guidance

• produce, print and save reports of their review

• produce action plans

• print commitment and progress certificates

• apply for the e-Safety Mark

The multi award-winning tool has been in use in the UK for five years. This new

bi-lingual Welsh version has been produced by the South West Grid for

Learning Trust, on behalf of Welsh Government.

Where can I find the resources?

You should log in to your Hwb account and follow the link to 360 Cymru on the

Hwb home page.

When you access the 360 degree safe Cymru tool for the first time you will

need to provide a few details about yourself and your school.

Once you have completed the registration information on the following page

you will be able to access the tool through the same single sign-on link in Hwb.

Registration for Local authority staff

Local authority staff can carry out a manual registration at

https://360safecymru.org.uk/.

Managing users

Once you have registered you can create additional users under the ‘manage

my account’ section:

Once you have registered you can download the ‘Certificate of commitment’.

This can be downloaded by clicking on the highlighted logo on the review

pages:

Carrying out your review

You can begin your review by clicking on the review tab and then on the

Element / Strand / Aspect as relevant. There are twenty eight aspects and you

can review these in any order you wish.
