Why The Name ??

Because of it’s meaning:

• Bitter • Hostility • Hatred• A hostile Feeling or act

Pitch

20-30 min One off drama about a man who is out to get revenge for the death of his brother.

Unique selling point- ‘how far will a man go to get revenge?’

Intended Audience – People who enjoy watching action dramas

Pitch

We thought a one off drama would be a good idea as we have an ending where the main character dies.

Rational

This drama will be about :• Lies• Secrecy• Betray We intend to show these issues through the

behaviour of our characters and the things that they do will show these traits. For example -

Rational

The man who goes to seek revenge for the death of his brother, finds out his Girlfriend is a spy and she and her team were the ones who killed his brother and in the end she kills him.

Context

• This project will make people question if they really know there other half

• Show how far people will go to get vengeance

where dose our project fit in the current media environment?

Context

We are at a stage now in Britain where viewers are ready to give new dramas a chance like ‘Downtown Abbey’ which is doing really well.

Old dramas are also being brought back to life in a modern day version such as ‘upstairs downstairs’ which shows that British people enjoy watching dramas. So there is space in the new media environment for new dramas if things are being made and reproduced.

Distribution

• Film Festivals – There are lots Edinburgh, Sheffield most require a small fee to show your work.

• B3 Media- They help young ethnic minorities who want to be film makers but they also help with Networking which is very important because they will give help and advice and point us in the right direction to help our drama get exposure.

• Our End of year show – which is another great way to network as we are allowed to invite people from the industry to look at our work.

• Equipment : Camera, Lighting, Mics all hired form the ET reception for free.

• Editing: Avid Free • Actors: willing to work for free • Props: Gun, gym bag, fake blood (under £15)

Why am I the right person to make this project?

Skills Audit

I have gained skills in production making through college and university. I also have experience in script writing, so I will defiantly be playing a big part in writing the script. I will also be capitalising on my drama experiences as I do drama I understand body language so I will be able to give advice to actors. About how they should read and act certain parts of the script.

Our opening scene will take part around the table. Where the guy will be thinking about the death of his brother looking at his photo. The other photo will be our opening shot where the camera is outside and we zoom into his living room window where we see him looking at his brothers photo.

• We are thinking about using this building on the left when the guy goes to confront the person who killed his brother. I like the look of this building because it’s old and it’s not the main base for the spies as they are always changing locations. These stairs are in a different building but I like the look of them so i though it would be a good idea to film

The guy walking up the stairs to show he is making his way to the building. Again we will get a long distance shot of the camera looking through the building windows. To give a feeling of ‘spying on a spy’.
