What’s going on this week!

Reading: We will continue to learn about how to be great readers using Daily 5 strategies. We will begin our review of story elements and lessons on Fables, Folktales & Myths.

Math: We will continue learning how to be great mathematicians using Daily 3 strategies. We will begin our review on number sense and adding/subtracting strategies.

Science: We will begin our journey into the solar system!

Writing: We will begin learning grammar skills and cursive handwriting!

Reminders

Lunch will be at 11:10 am (Mon, Tue, Thur, Fri) and 12:10 (Wed)

Star Homework Log! Earn as many stars as you can towards great homework achievement! There is not a word study option this week.

Please wear tennis shoes on gym day!

Sparkler tickets are now being given by all Star Elementary staff for positive behaviors. Ask your child if they have received any!
