Pelophylax cerigensis (Beerli, Hotz, Tunner, Heppich & Uzzell, 1994) , Karpathos Frog: Rana cerigensis Beerli, Hotz, Tunner, Heppich & Uzzell, 1994 : CR [B1ab(iii)+2ab(iii)] : Summary: Pelophylax cerigensis is endemic to Greece. It occurs in the island of Karpathos in a single locality. Extensive degradation and habitat destruction, climatic alterations and human activities are amongst the major causes of the severe reduction of local populations during the last decades. The species is classified as Critically Endangered.

Bombina bombina (Linnaeus, 1761) , Fire-bellied toad : [B1ab(iii,v)+2ab(iii,v)] : LC. Summary: Bombina bombina occurs in a small part of Evros prefecture, where it exhibits a fragmented distribution. Major threats to the species might be the loss of suitable habitats, especially breeding sites, through intensive agriculture, agro-chemical pollution, as well as climatic alterations. It is classified as Endangered.
