    Abstract

    e all ha%e always wondered how the %ehicles of future

    generation will loo/ li/e. ow will new de%eloping technologies ma/e theirimpact on the design e%elopment operation handling and aesthetics of

    our future cars. New technologies are eing introduced day y day. e ha%e

    tried to e5plain some of the technologies will e implemented in coming years

    in the car. This would change complete attitude of the dri%ers towards car. The

    digital age will not only ma/e the cars more affordale fuel efficient ut will

    also redefine the concept of fuel used in cars. Some of the technologies that

    architecture interior designing. People will e5pect these new trends to e

    incorporated in the cars. People will also e5pect the car to represent the

    national identity and the culture of country. Shape design ,olors and the

    material of the cars will also %ery different in future according to pulic

    The loal positioning system 8.P.S9 uses satellites for precise location of

    the oAects on the earth. These systems will e installed in e%ery future

    started. Now PS are installed in cars

    The enefits are to reduce the dri%er stress fatigue. This system is

    lamp creating a eam that can change its shape illuminating the different

    areas of the road ahead. The shape of eam is controlled y speed and the

    steering of car. hen the car accelerates the certain lamps are turn on to get

    road disturances. the automoile industry is coming with new technology in

    ring you pleasure. This new technology is called as acti%e suspensions.

    "n acti%e suspension system has the capaility to adAust itself

    hen traffic hits we cannot freely dri%e with our foot more often on the

    ra/e than on the accelerator. ItHs in these situations that the eauty of the

    Intelligent Par/ing 'ra/e 8IP'9 shines through. ith the push of a utton the

    IP' o%errides the ra/e pedal and connects to the %ehicleHs antiGloc/ ra/e

    system. This means that in traffic on a hill or e%en at a stop sign you can

    ta/e your foot off the pedal and acti%ate the IP'.

    est in traffic and in emergency situations when you need to stop on a dime.

    The fuel efficiency greatly depend on the weight of car. #uture cars will

    made of %ery light materials to impro%e the mileage. Cesearch ha%e shown

    that #or e%ery 100 pounds reduction in wt. mileage impro%es y 1mile per

    gallon. 'ody and chassis are now will e made y aluminum that will reduce

    the wt. of %ehicle y $!J. 'ut the prolem with the aluminum is it is %ery

    costly and difficult to wor/ with. 'ut new solutions ha%e also come up. Now

    the new cars will e uilt with thermo plastics. The ody is made y inAection

    moulding. ifferent parts of ody are glued y super strong adhesi%e. Then

    whole ody is dropped o%er chassis. The paint shop can also eliminated y

    using colored plastics. This will also ring the new concept of recycling of

    cars. The weight and cost of the %ehicle gets drastically reduced. These cars

    are est suited for Indian and ,hinese mar/ets.

    The solution came up with hyrid cars. yrid electric cars had

    plus points of oth electric and gasoline cars. These car ha%e a motor and

    any internal comustion engine. "t low speed motor dri%es the car and at

    high speed internal comustion engines will not only dri%e the car ut also

    recharge the atteries. It reDuires a smaller attery pac/. These cars are less

    green ut they are more practical. The Toyota Priyus is the 1 st production

    hyrid in the world.

    The new reed of cars is also de%eloping running on hydrogen

    cells. The car de%eloped y Toyota runs on electric motor not powered y

    atteries ut y fuel cell. In fuel cell 2 hydrogen atom comine with an

    :5ygen atom to produce electricity. The y product is only pure water.

    The source of hydrogen may e from methanol reformer.
