In the example, a cast-in-concrete installation blockout was chosen for site preparation.

Step 1: Terminate the main cable(s) in the terminal box. Clip the terminal box on to the back of the luminaire.

After completion of civil construction, remove the mounting platein order to access the blockout and mains supply cable(s).

Step 2: Set cable(s) inside the installation blockout. Slide the luminaire into position.

Shown here is the STI134 steplight, displaying exceptionallybroad 'floor wash' coverage from low installation height.

Step 3: Securing the unit. The factory-sealed luminaire is nowready for operation, without the need to open it during installation.

PCS coated fasteners made from austenitic stainless steelreduce the risk of galvanic corrosion.

Depending on their respective areas of application, steplights are available in different shapes, forms and functions. Among the luminaires featured in this brochure, the STI134

deserves special attention – its optical system has been designed to ensure glare-free visual comfort while delivering a broad 'floor wash'. Whether chosen for the illumination of

stairs, terraces, pathways or otherwise, this steplight convinces users with its illumination qualities, minimalistic aesthetics, low energy consumption and longevity.

This CAD ray-tracing simulation demonstrates the combined forward and downward distribution by the luminaire’s unique reflector element. An additional refractor lens ensures simultaneous sideward distribution of the light.

The STI134 steplight provides glare-free, broad 'floor wash' coverage from a low installation height, including the area right underneath – at the 'foot' of the luminaire.
