2016 SUMMER SALUTE FESTIVAL FOOD/BEVERAGE INFORMATION AND REGISTRATION FESTIVAL DATES AND TIMES: August 26 th and 27 th , 2016; Hopkinsville, Kentucky Friday, 10am till 10pm Saturday, 8am till 10pm The registration fee is $175.00 for first space, including electricity, additional spaces are $125.00 per space and are payable in advance, non-refundable. Spaces are 12’ wide X 20deep. Fee must be postmarked by August 1, 2016 to secure your space. Access to electricity is limited and will be reserved on a first come basis. Make CASHIER’S CHECKS OR MONEY ORDERS ONLY payable and mailed to: City of Hopkinsville Division of Parks and Recreation 2600 Thomas Street Hopkinsville, KY 42240 Vendors are solely responsible for providing all tables, chairs, tents, utensils, paper products, equipment, electrical cords, plugs, water hoses, connectors and products they will use during the festival. Access to potable water will be made available to vendors, free of charge. Dumpsters will be provided nearby for you to dispose of refuse. DO NOT LEAVE YOUR COOKING OIL OR GREASE on site after the festival. You are responsible for proper disposal. Vendors will be required to obtain a Temporary Food Event Permit from the Christian County Health Department. The fee is $30.00. See attached brochure, “How to Set Up for a Temporary Food Event”. For additional information, phone 270.887.4160 or see online: http://christiancountyhd.com We will make every effort to provide and designate convenient parking for trailers and stored items you need to have near your booth. Please check-in and park in designated areas. Vendor set-up Thursday, August 25 th , 5 8 pm. Festival staff will be on-site to guide you to your assigned space. No vendors will be allowed to set-up prior to this time. Vendors are expected to be present and staff their operations during festival hours. Do not permanently mark your space, insert anything into the pavement or leave your space in any condition except as it was when assigned to you. Tear down begins on Saturday at 10:00pm and must be completed, with all vehicles and trailers out of the area, by 12:00 midnight.

Night-watchmen will be provided by the festival on Thursday evening, 10:00pm till 6:00am; and Friday evening, 10:00pm till 6:00am. However, each vendor is ultimately responsible for the safety, sanitation, and security of their space, products, merchandise and equipment during the festival.

All vendors will be expected to comply with Kentucky Revised Statutes, noting 238.500, Charitable Gaming and 365.241, Counterfeiting Intellectual Property.

The undersigned agrees to indemnify and hold harmless the City of Hopkinsville, the Division of Parks & Recreation,

all of their officers and agents, and Summer Salute Festival sponsors, from all injury, loss, costs, claims, or damages

to any person or property arising from, related to, or in any way connected with participation in the Summer Salute

Festival. Permission is granted to publish any and all photos taken during this event. During my participation in this

event, I agree to allow the City of Hopkinsville and the Division of Parks and Recreation to have licensed medical

personnel provide any warranted emergency treatment.
