APPLICATION PROCESS 1. Applicants meeting criteria below, must write a 500 word essay on

“What sports has meant to your life.” 2. Complete essay and return essay to the Athletic Office by 5/2; 4:00pm 3. A Selection Committee will review the essays and criteria and then make

their final selection. 4. The final recipient will be notified by their coach and should attend the

AHS Athletic Award’s Banquet (Wednesday, May 25; 6:30) where the winner will be announced.

CRITERIA

1. SENIOR male or female 2. 3.2 GPA at conclusion of their 1st semester 3. Participated in a Varsity sport; earning a letter their Senior year 4. MUST DEMONSTRATE a continuous pattern of:

• Leadership • Integrity • Friendship
