Island Trees Varsity coach: Ray Due 3rd year

Key Returning Players: Ryan Willoughby, Dylan Cranmer, Bryan Cruz, Joe Badolato

New Additions: Brian Groenthal, Matt Jorgensen, Eric Quinones, Kevin Cuartans

Last Season's Record: 7-4-3 overall 5-3-3 league

Outlook For Season: the bulldogs are looking to put together a more consistent season this year. Returning

four 3 year players The Bulldogs will look for that leadership to help pull them through. There will be a lot of

new faces as only five starters are returning

West Hempstead

Varsity Coach: Chris Van Kovics 7th year

Key Returning Players: Robert Grogan, Carmine Fuschello, Bobby Smith, Carlos Palomo, Fabricio Barbosa,

Jason Criollo, Steven DiMarco, Jared Sills

New Additions: Dayquan Crawley, Chris Mistrella, Eric Rodriguez

Last Seasons Record: conf 3-7-1 overall 3-9-3

Season Outlook: if we stay healthy follow the blueprint and continue to get better every day we should be a

team that can make a run at the playoffs.

Seaford Varsity coach/#years coaching: Ralph Pascarella 18 years

Key returning players: jake Doyle, John DiFrancisi, Dan Connell, Rory Cohn, Keith McHugh

New Additions:

Last Season Record: 5-6-3

Outlook For Season: Will be very inexperienced with many new players. However will compete in our

division and hope to grab one of the last playoff spots

Clarke HS Varsity Coach: Matt Germaine 8th season

Key returning players: Tristan Nagel, Connor Questel, Nick Courtney, Rodolfo Chacon, Kevin Mejia

New Additions: Gio Lizarazo, Kemal Deljanin

Last Seasons Record: 5-5-1 league, 6-8-1 overall

Outlook For Season: with nine returning players we are looking to fill those two holes and compete for the top

playoff spot in conference AB3. If we play as a team and finish out games we will be alright.

Carle Place HS Coach/ # years: Allen Foraker 12th year

Key Returning Players: John Aydgran, Dylan Iglesias, Danny Chavez

New Additions: Anthony Machado, Liam Lofgren, Mike O’Connell

Last Season’s Record: 18-0-1

Season Outlook: After a dream 2013 season Carle Place will be fielding a young squad. The team will look to

make a push to defend its County title in a very tough Conference and Class B.

Cold Spring Harbor HS Coach/ # years: Ed Moeller 28th year

Key Returning Players: Ryan Winkoff, Jamie Schuballer, George Carmi

New Additions: Chris Wilcox, Alex Marino

Last Season’s Record: 9-4-3

Season Outlook: With only four starters returning the Seahawks are looking to be a competitive team in the

Conference.

Friends Academy HS Coach/# years: Marshall Lindner 43rd year (32nd at FA)

Key Returning Players: Oliver Murad, Samer Benary, Max Heffron, Brandon Rosenbaum

New Additions: Merek Glover

Last Season’s Record: 18-1-1

Season Outlook: Friends is coming off a state title and entering the new season with hopes of being in the mix

with the newly aligned, strong conference.

Locust Valley HS Coach/# years: Joseph Lee 11th year

Key Returning Players: Billy Mullen, Herlyn Argueta, Niko Martinovic, Connor Torrossian

New Additions: Oscar Arteaga, David Villalobos, Alex Linardos

Last Season’s Record:

Season Outlook: The Falcons have an experienced and well balanced team. The program is looking forward to

its second season in Class A and hopes to challenge for a playoff spot.

Malverne/East Rockaway HS Coach/ # years: Lew Lattari 1st year

Key Returning Players:

New Additions: Last Season’s Record: 0-9-2

Season Outlook: Malverne is looking to be competitive in the conference.

Mineola HS Coach/ # years: Paul Periera 18th year

Key Returning Players: Andrew Pereira (GK – Senior), Danny Pardo (F – Senior), Eric Lopez (D – Senior),

Alex Taveira (D – Senior) and Brandon Mendes (MF – Sophomore)

New Additions: Anthony Abbatiello (D – Sophomore), Luis Tinoco (MF – Sophomore), and Efrain Oliveros (F

– Sophomore)

Last Season’s Record: 2-8-1 (3-8-3 overall)

Season Outlook: A talented but inexperienced Mineola team will look to be competitive in a difficult

conference and make a run at a return to the playoffs after a two year absence.

Oyster Bay HS Coach/ # years: Tim Brady 18th year

Key Returning Players: Thomas Carchietta, Kevin Velasquez, Jerry Ochoa, Arcel Ngoy, Justin Ozkan, Diego

New Additions: James Treiber, Jasson Cruz, Ronald Vanagas

Last Season’s Record: 7-5-2

Season Outlook: The Baymen are looking to play consistent soccer throughout a long season, stay healthy, and

compete for a playoff spot.

Wheatley HS Coach/ # years: Steve Cadet 9th year

Key Returning Players: Josh Bergshon, Mykul Doherty, Ethan Bloombeg, Pedro Lammare

New Additions: Josh Wolff, Zach Jacobs (goalkeeper), Joe Cuccinela

Last Season’s Record: 11-5-0

Season Outlook: The team lost 12 seniors (8 starters) from 2013. The team is young but has some talented

sophomores and juniors. Wheatley hopes to be competitive and improve as the year progresses. Their goal is to

compete for a chance to return to the Class “B” Championship game again this year.
