Show & Class Schedule

Falls Church Arts2014/15

pARTicipate! – Bringing art to the people and places in Falls Church has been the theme for this season. Falls Church Arts received grant funds to expand our reach outside of the galleries and classes and into the City’s streets and events to bring the arts to the people who may not otherwise be exposed to the dynamic and growing arts scene in the City. Some of the exist-ing and new events that will benefit from the funding of supplies, equipment, and training made possible by this grant are Halloween Paint-In, Making Art at the Market, Watch Night, Art In&Out, Chalk Walks for City events, and temporary chalk mural making.

The funds have also allowed expanded promotion of FCA efforts on new event banners to announce and promote pARTicipate programs. FCA’s largest continuing “bringing art outside” event is our Plein Air Festival. Our popular FCA tent at the weekly Falls Church Farmer’s Market continues, with plein air painters demonstrating their talent through Fall.

This catalogue showcases our upcoming shows and expanded classes. Information about other events, such as Art21 film premieres, as well as lectures, ad-ditional classes, and our monthly Art CriTique ses-sions, will be available on FCA’s website.

We invite you to join us in another exciting FCA year. Enter shows, attend openings, come to free lectures, take classes from professional artists, volunteer to help out at our fun art events—pARTicipate!
