TravelBetween Perth and Kalgoorlie:

Prospector Train

Leaves East Perth Terminal at 7:00am(Student must check in with their teacher inside the terminal, not the platform, at 6:30am)

Arrives Kalgoorlie Terminal at 2:30pm

Leaves Kalgoorlie Terminal at 3:00pmArrives East Perth Terminal at 9:45pm

TravelBuses around Kalgoorlie and between

activities will be driven by;

Mr Meachem will drive a 25 seater bus with his HR licence

Mrs Lavery will drive a 25 seater bus with her HC licence

Mr Sanderson will drive the 12 seater bus and only requires his car licence

EquipmentStudents will be given a list of items they are

permitted to take with them on camp.Electronic equipment, such as phones and

ipods, will be permitted.Wattle Grove Primary School does NOT take

any responsibility for these items, except at the close of each day, before bedtime, when all electronic items will be collected and secured by staff until the morning.

This will ensure all students have a well-earned sleep, ready for the next days activities.

School caters for children with food alergies, gluten free, halal, vegan, vegetarian and other dietry requirements if needed.

These need to be stated by the end of Term 3.

Students’ DutiesStudents will

be rostered to perform duties while on camp.

DormsStudents will be allocated dorms for the whole

week.They will be permitted to choose one other

student they would like in their dorm with them.

Remember, this is an opportunity for students to work and play together and to develop memories that will last a lifetime.

It is important that ALL students have the opportunities to build on these memories with as many different students as they can

MoneyStudents will be permitted to take money on

camp.

This will allow them to purchase souvenirs from many of the tourist sights we will visit.

However, we are limiting the amount to $50.

Wattle Grove Primary School is NOT responsible for any monies brought along on camp by your child

CostThe cost for camp includes;

Prospector train Perth to Kalgoorlie and returnBus HireFour (4) nights accommodationAll meals and entry to tourist sites

The final cost to parents is $300.

You may start paying in small increments each week to assist with payment
