Phase 1

- Create pedestrian-walking pathways within the triangle.

- Create greenery pavement in the triangle.

- Recreate a more convenient drive-through for PNC Bank.

- Reduce parking space and insert pedes-trian pathway in the triangle.

- Increase the amount of trees.

Design Principles

- Create more greenery pavement in the triangle to be more inviting.

- Increase sitting areas and main attraction within the triangle.

- Improve the building shape to be more envi-ronmental-friendly.v

- Create driveway entrance into the triangle from Ridge to Parkview.

- Create more wooden pavement to tmprove the winter image.

- Create mixed-use buildings to increase the density of the triangle.

- Energy saving.

- Right-turn lane.

Main Feature

- Provide the entrance to the triangle from Ridge Avenue.

- Improve accessibility from Ridge to Mont-gomery.

-Cover the driveway with roof to create a more cohesive image of the triangle.

- Create a new gateway of the triangle.

-Mixed-use parking garage structure with first floor commercial uses and upper three floors garage use.

- Replace the existing parking lot.

- Provide more visible parking spaces for vistors.

- Create a new landmark building structure in Pleasant Ridge.

Site Analysis

Devou Park is heavily vegetated and has a lot of greenery, especially on the west side. It also has a lot of steep slopes that can be hardly built on. Most of the potential sites for development will be on the east side. The park has a circulation system can be di-vided into 4 catagories, which is High Way, Main Road, Collective Road and Residential Road.

2 Connect to the main commer-cial street by walking paths and biking trails

3 Provide entertainment use

GIS Information Ludlow avenue is located in Hamilton County, Ohio in the Cin-cinnati Area. It ‘s by I-71 and Clifton Avenue. 3,000sqft prime, high traffic, retail location situated on the street adjacent to corner w/ light (Clifton skyline chili). Very busy intersection of Clif-ton Ave. and Ludlow. Less then a block from The Esquire Movie Theater and many other Clifton hot spots. The neighborhood has a very good population density.

3D Existing Buildings

Ludlow is a healthy and stable neighborhood with mostly mixed used buildings. Most of them are single family rental units. It also have servaral commercial buildings and public recreation buildings, but they are rare. The neighborhood is a very popular place for the young popula-tion to hang-out. People are deeply involved in this community. It is a very vibrant and active community

A multi-story public recre-ational building will be built at the site of the vacant parking lot and two stories of garage space will be provided for parking.

Another Story will be added to the existing library structure to provide more computer devices for vistors to use. It can also be arranged as small classrooms.
