On behalf of the Canadian Society of Civil Engineers (CSCE) – UBC Student Chapter, weinvite you to attend the 2012 annual CSCE-UBC Industry Night on Thursday, January 26,2012 from 6:00pm to 9:30pm in the Civil Design Studio in CEME at UBC.

The focus of the CSCE – UBC Student Chapter is to provide students with practicalopportunities to understand and learn more about Civil Engineering applications and

industries that relate to their current studies. The CSCE – UBC Student Chapter providesstudents with a bridge that relates University academic knowledge with Civil EngineeringIndustry practice.

Each year, the CSCE – UBC Student Chapter hosts an annual Industry Night. This annualforum allows Civil Engineering students to meet and network with employers andrepresentatives from various disciplines of Civil Engineering. In addition to meetingaspiring Civil Engineers, employers and representatives will have the opportunity to speak briefly about their companies, job opportunities, and interesting projects.

In previous years, the UBC- CSCE annual Industry Night has gathered a tremendous turn out and has been an exciting and enjoyable evening for students and employers. Food and

drinks will be available to everyone at the event. A business casual dress code isrecommended. We anticipate another great turn out and hope that this Industry Night willbe a tremendous experience for all attending!
