Women's spring rates (blue line) are tuned for lighter average rider weights than our men's bikes (red line). This creates a plusher ride and helps female riders utilize all of the travel provided.

every specialized women’s mtB frame is developed from anthropometric research and riding experience to appropriately fit the female form. with smaller sizes, experience-specific geometries, and the lowest possible standover heights, our women’s frames give female riders more control on the trail.

CuSToM Tubing

we create custom tubes for all of our women’s mtB frames and utilize specific carbon layups (where applicable) so they are lighter and smoother riding than over-built bikes for men. this makes our bikes climb and accelerate faster, while also making them more compliant.

anaToMiCal SaDDleS

our women’s-specific saddles are the result of extensive research, pressure mapping, and development with medical experts. we refine saddle shape, foam density, and seam positioning and formulate anatomical cut-aways to relieve pressure on sensitive soft tissue, increasing overall comfort.

whether grips, rotors, handlebars or cranks, our women’s components are tuned, designed, or specially selected to be proportional for women’s bodies and the way you ride.

CuSToM-TuneD SuSPenSion

all of the suspension forks and rear shocks we spec on our women’s bikes (whether proprietary designs or not) are specifically tuned and sized to suit female riders, so even the lightest riders will benefit from more comfort, control, and efficiency.

› on air forks and shocks, we tune the spring curve to provide a plush initial ride and ramp more at the end of the curve, so women are able to utilize all of their suspension. most shocks ramp up too soon, which essentially becomes wasted travel. › on coil-sprung forks, we use lighter

weight, size-specific springs.

Women’s fact is 10m carbon frame

What does it do for you?

you get the stiffest, lightest, and most efficient women’s-specific frame for hammering cross-country trails and race courses.

How does it work?

Using our most advanced construction method (fact is), we optimize the era’s carbon layup and tubing dimensions for greater stiffness and lighter weight. design features like our tapered head tube and oversized BB also add strength and stiffness for better steering precision and quicker acceleration.

mini brain rear shock


By “sensing” the difference between rider-induced and bump-induced forces, the specialized/fox mini Brain rear shock (also found in the bike’s e100 fork) boosts efficiency and control over smooth and rough terrain. spring rates are custom tuned for female rider weights.

How does it work?

when you encounter bump forces, the Brain’s inertia valve disengages, allowing oil to flow and the shock to immediately transition from firm (efficient) to fully active (compliant) suspension settings. By working from a bell curve based on average female rider weight (150 lbs. vs. men’s 180 lbs.) and utilizing wheel/spring rate analysis, we can target the perfect spring rates for each frame size.

Xc Double cranks


double cranks are lighter and better shifting than the standard triple. they give you more useable/less redundant gears, better ground clearance, and less chain drop.

How does it work?

triple cranks inherently create redundant gears. By eliminating one of the chainrings (essentially, removing under-utilized gears), double cranks reduce weight and redundancy, yet still give riders plenty of gear options. the smaller “big” ring increases clearance.

How does it work?

designing the bike from the ground up with a three-piece top tube and shock carriage enables us to create in-line suspension, so we can reach our lofty women’s design targets in terms of standover, kinematics, and bottle clearance. women’s xc trail geometry gives the bike balanced climbing and descending capabilities for diverse terrain.
