We will yet again be hosting this sale at the Tippie Beef Center located on the campus of Kirkwood Community College in Cedar Rapids, IA. We can not remember a more exciting time to be involved in the cattle business than right now. From commercial cattle to registered seedstock, prices have continued to soar as demand has risen. The cattle represented in this sale are the type to win in the show ring as well as make you profits in the pasture. The consignors in this sale are responsible for raising multiple National Champion females as well as some very competitive show steers. Two of last year’s steers were named Champion & Reserve at the Futurity this summer. Both being sold for under $2200. The members of this sale group have strived over the years to bring cutting edge genetics to the sale ring each and every year. All of the calves sold will be halter broke and ready for show, and as always will be sold in an open and honest manner. As many of you remember her dam had the ability to take it to the next level, as she was Reserve Grand in Denver, Grand Champion at the Iowa State Fair two years running, as well as several other high finishes at major shows. We believe Brooke will have that same ability. She is just very complete in her makeup, she has the correct amount of bone and good skeletal makeup to form the soundness she shows when she moves. She gets her looks of being deep sided from her mother. She has a nice top that extends back to a good square hip that gives that look that a future brood cow should have.
