Now, we’re unleashing a model that will press people back in their seats. The all-new Sonata 2.0T blazes a new trail in the midsize segment with a 2.0L turbocharged four-cylinder engine that packs more power (class-leading 274 hp and 269 lb-ft of torque) and better fuel economy than any V-6 competitor. It’s the first engine in its class equipped with both twin-scroll turbocharging and direct-injection – technologies typically found in high-end luxury models. The result is improved off-the-line acceleration, improved throttle response for passing and optimal fuel economy. Better still, it runs on regular gasoline – the perfect compliment to its surprisingly affordable price tag.

Two trim levels are available to satisfy your personal driving preferences. The SE model offers performance-tuned driving dynamics, while a Limited version adds a bit more refinement to the experience. Like every Hyundai, they both come standard with America’s Best Warranty.2

PERFECTLY bALANCING NAUGHTY AND NICE.The Sonata 2.0T powerplant pours a class-leading 274 horsepower and 269 lb-ft of torque onto the pavement, where it’s channeled through a silky-smooth 6-speed SHIFTRONIC® automatic transmission. Innovations like gasoline direct injection and a DOHC 16-valve design with Dual Continuously Variable Valve Timing maximize power while simultaneously reducing emissions. A lightweight, all-aluminum design takes this dichotomy even further: Our turbocharged Sonata delivers a lean 33 mpg highway rating with an Ultra-Low-Emission Vehicle (ULEV-II) classification, while still managing a top track speed of 145 mph.1 All of which leads the reviewers at Car and Driver to exclaim, “Powered by an all-new 2.0-liter turbo four, the Sonata 2.0T will take top honors in its class in both highway fuel economy and power – including V-6 competitors.”2
