The beautiful Hoover Y-Park has 65 acres of fields, woods, and stream. It is the perfect setting for an exciting summer in the

great outdoors. We believe in offering children a wide variety of opportunities for learning new skills, making friends, having fun

and building self-esteem. Hoover has a variety of activities including:

will complete your experience.

Worldwide ArtEntering Grades 1-6, 9:00 am–3:30 pm Week 5 July 12–16Spend an exciting week spanning the globe as you experience the color and beauty of the art of Africa, Mexico and South America through visual art, music, dance and cooking.

WILDerness QuestEntering Grades 5–7, 9:00 am–3:30 pm Week 7 July 26–30

outdoor cooking, and survival skills prepare you for your primitive camping overnight at Hoover Y-Park. Campers

is an overnight on Thursday night.

We will learn the basics of cooking and explore different foods from other countries. This week includes proper food handling and storage as well as basic nutrition.
