The wonder of caring...
My life has changed. Matt Talbot Homes saved my life. Ihave learned how to interact with people and talk to them
with a smile and look them in the eyes, confident and proudof what has happened to me. Each day I have more to gainand my eyes are opened to see life anew for the first time
since I was a child. Im delighted to have a sober future.
Jayden, former resident of Matt Talbot Houses,

OConnor Project Update
For several years you may have heard variou
announcements about the OConnor Group meetings he
at Our Lady of Sorrows, with occasional events such the popular CELTIC Sunday Afternoon. Their aim an
goal was to save Sen. Frank OConnors home frodemolition.
This month, at an Ireland Fund luncheon, Minister JiFlaherty announced a government grant of $2.1 millio
towards the restoration of this estate. This is good newfor the OConnor Groups hard work over the yearFrank OConnor, who died in 1939, was a committe
Catholic layman of his era, unambiguously Catholic, angenerous to his Catholic Institutions. Restoring his hom
honours his memory.I especially wish to thank those parishioners, who fro
the beginning, believed in and supported this worthproject. Their support and hard work has allowed thOConnor name and the OConnor project to remain o
many minds.
Thank You! Fr. Nino
