In Remembrance,

With Love We dedicate this commemorative booklet to you, our donor families; and to

your loved ones who shared life with others. You shared your memories and

photographs with us so that we may know the person you loved. We express

our sincere gratitude to you for your generosity in your time of grief.

Please accept this gift of thanks to honor you and those you loved; and to

celebrate the new life they gave to others.

Bill loved everyone. He never met a stranger and made people laugh. He was a truck driver who loved hot peppers, hot sauce, garlic and onions. Bill was an ex-Marine who

loved life, was a Boy Scout leader, and coached Little League. He was an active church member who played and sang classic country music. And… he loved coffee.

Because all this I’ll share with you In just a little while.

The Lord is my shepherd; I shall not want. Yea, though I walk through the valley of the shadow of death,

I will fear no evil: for thou art with me. And I will dwell in the house of the Lord forever.

I thought of you with Love today, but that is nothing new. I thought of you yesterday and days before that too.

I think of you in silence and I often speak your name. All I have are memories and a picture in a frame.

Your memory is a keepsake with which I'll never part. God has you in his keeping, I have you in my heart.

You are dearly missed and loved.

knew him. His loving spirit lives on in all of us.

With all my love, Mama

Jim was a simple man with a burning love for his family – his wife, his children and most especially his grandchildren. He loved nature and found great solace and

pleasure in just sitting, relaxing and enjoying nature’s quiet moments. His advice to his children and grandchildren: “Find peace in the simple pleasures of life and you will find

happiness.”

“Vision of Beauty to Visualize God-Given Gifts”

Now that I have vision, I am able to fully visualize all of the splendors of God’s wonderful creations in life.

I owe this wonderful awesome gift to Curtis Landon DeJong, Jr. who passed away on

July 4th, 2009 and was an organ donor. Curt’s sister, parents and step-dad and step-mom decided to unselfishly and lovingly provide a gift of life for me so that I could again see

the many splendors of God’s wonderful gifts.

The Day My Father Died

It was Friday, January 23rd, 2009. My sister called me to let me know Dad had been taken to the hospital. This had happened several times before, so I sat down and waited for that call to let me know he was doing fine. Instead, my sister called me and told me our father had passed. At first it was like it wasn’t going through to my head. I guess

because she usually said he’s doing better. Now she’s saying daddy has died. I guess my brain wasn’t ready for that. After the initial shock, I had seen my father in everything. It seems like it was just yesterday. However, I did know one day this could happen. So I

just prayed to God for more time. But, as my father would say, “Their time just ran out.” None of us knows when our time is so try to live life one day at a time.

DADDY I JUST WANT YOU TO KNOW WE LOVE

AND MISS YOU VERY MUCH!

I had a talk with God last night And let my feelings flow,

I told him how much I loved you And missed you so.

Then I heard mighty thunder

And the rain began to fall, I started to tremble as a bright light

Appeared against the wall.

“May I sit with you?” I heard God’s voice say,

“We need to have a little talk Before another day”

I know you love your sister And miss her very much, But I relieved all her pain With just one small touch.

She’s come home now,

I brought her here to live with me, As from the beginning

This is how it’s supposed to be.

As we walk in a heavenly garden She often speaks of you.

You see my Dear Your sister also misses you.

She tells of her life on earth

And the many things you shared, But of this life

She was chosen to the one to be spared.

She reached for me in her greatest need And I was there to see her thru I am always here for everyone

And I’ll be here for you too

So don’t worry my child, Everything is going as planned

And when the time is right You also will reach for my hand.
