General comments

"I needed to cut back on my monthly payments and traded in my SO LOVED 2002 FordExpedition, I know that the comparisons are not equal. However the Toyota Corolla is agreat little car. looks extremely nice, I got the top of the line LE with all of thebells and whistles. So far I like it alot and would recommend it. I hear they are veryreliable and I know very thrifty on gasoline. "

George M. (Gilbert , Arizona - March, 2004)

"I love the comfort and how this car handles the road."

Susan R. (Boston , Massachusetts - September, 2003)

"The first thing that will amaze you about this car is how luxurious it feels. Roadnoise is nearly non-existant and the automatic transmission is so smooth, you canbarely notice the shifts. It is very roomy inside with a spacious trunk. With severestop and go traffic, I can still get gas mileage in the mid-30’s! The car handleswell, looks great and all dials, guages and controls are easy to read and operate. What is there not to like about this car?!?!?"

Gregory W. (Universal City , Texas - August, 2003)

"I test drove a lot of vehicles before deciding on the Corolla. The car has greatpower and a comfortable ride for a small car. I’m averaging 38 MPG for City andHighway Drivng. The main reason I bought a Toyota Corolla is the reliability. I boughta Saturn in 2000.I thought I’d give GM another chance after owning Toyota’s for tenyears. Nothing but trouble. The computer went out. The A/C went out. I had troublewith the sunroof and the car sqeaked all the time. The Saturn was only three years oldand the exhaust pipe was already rusting through. I have a 1989 Honda Prelude that Ibought new and it still has the original exhaust system and I’ve never had a problemwith it either. Every Toyota I’ve owned, I’ve never had a problem, just the regularmaintenance. If you want a problem free car with good gas mileage. I’d recommend thisone."

David S. (Huber Heights , Ohio - July, 2003)

"Comments from Singapore, Asia. There are two flavours of Corolla (aka ALTIS). The 1.6litre and the 1.8 litre. Tested the 1.6 one. Its’ interior is more luxury than theCivic. Performance of the 1.6 is a bit lagging. If performance is the top priority, then go for the Civic."

June G. (Virginia Beach , Virginia - February, 2004)

"We loved the test drive. We test drove a Honda Civic right after the Corolla and theCivic didn’t even compare."

Sandy , Utah - January, 2004

"I test drove the toyota camry and the corolla and I found them both to be veryassertive, but yet smooth cars. They are cars that can definitely take control of theroad while giving you the thrill of your life. I felt safe in it being a toyota, stylish in that it is a 2004 car, and confident that the toyota’s are well made cars."

Slidell , Louisiana - May, 2004

"Engine noise excessive in interior at higher speeds and during acceleration ... gasmileage lower than expected and as posted/advertised - getting 23/24 mpg city ... ridenot as smooth as expected ..."

Ken C. (Mission Hills , California - September, 2003)

"See 2003 Review it is exactly the same"

C. M. (Corona , California - August, 2003)
