Continuing Education: Upon successful completion of the course, CMI students will receive a certificate awarding 2.3 CEUs. The CEU (Continuing Education Unit) is a nation-ally recognized unit of measure for continuing education and training programs that meet certain criteria.Tax Deduction of Expenses: An income tax deduction is al-lowed for expenses of education (including registration fee, travel, meals and lodging) undertaken to maintain and improve professional skills. (See U.S. Treas. Regulation 1.162.5.)

Gating & Riser Design— Ferrous (#15-10)Oct 13-16 • Muskegon Community College Muskegon, MI Member: $1095 • Non-Member: $1195

This course will include information on fluid flow, gating design, heat transfer, solidification and riser design. Gating and riser design for ferrous casting alloys includes information for gray, ductile, malleable, white alloyed irons and carbon, low-alloy and high-alloy steels.

Course Location details and hotel group rate will be provided upon registration. Room block release date is 2 weeks prior to course.
