Yo soy mishbah, tengo fe,That’s what you learn, down the Yucatan way,

I’m nothing, but I got faith,And I don’t have to play the fool,

Asi es mi vida, asi es mi corazon,Yo soy El Güero Azul

Es mejor caminar solo que mal acompanado, Quando la gente que se me acerca, da la bueno,

No me enseña nada,I need to stay back in life’s school,Asi es mi vida, asi es mi corazon,

Yo soy El Güero Azul

Hoy es el primer dia, de la resto de mi vida, Escucho el consejo para no mi cada tonto,

Maybe I’m just stubborn like a mule. That's my life. That's my heart.

I guess I'm the Guero Azul.

Todo por su propio peso cae,You learn that when you look upon the sky Well, I don’t want to break no golden rule, And I don’t want to see nobody like a fool,

That’s my life, that’s my vida,Yo soy El Güero Azul

Mexico City, just doing what I please Mexico City, just doing what I please,

Till I met that little girl,Dropped me right down to my knees.

Walk the streets at night, Sometimes sleeping in the park,

I walked the streets at night, Sometimes sleeping in the park,

Trying to find my Baby,Trying to find her in the dark.

Mexico City, The Zona Rosa,The Zona Rosa is otra cosa,

Mexico City, just doing what I please, Till I met that little girl,

Dropped me right down to my knees.

El Güero Azul sings originals, such as Mexico City Blues, (feeling the Blues in the Big Avocado), Old Mexico, (about visions of semi desert) and Zihua, about the

beach off of the legendary Fishing Village Zihuatanejo, on the Costa Grande.

The song, El Güero Azul, sung in Spanglish, offers a look into the way this Singer's life has been influenced by living South of the Border.

These gems are sprinkled among vocal classics from John Coltrane, Billie Holiday, Cole Porter and others, ending with a Latin Jazz Jam on Caravan.

The arrangements were done by Cuban Pianist Guru, Gabriel Hernandez (Afro Cuban All Stars) and the band composed of super grooving Maestros living in

Mexico City.

Bobby Kapp resides in San Miguel de Allende, when he is not on tour, or traveling.

El Güero Azul, (Blue White Boy) is some deep stuff as it’s real meaning is revealed in this compelling and driving musical adventure, full of risks, hair pin turns, and

romance.
