7.1.26 Each ram and annular blow out preventer shall be subjected to a closedpreventer test after the hydraulic proof test. The hydraulic operating systempressure used shall be equal to or less than the manufacturer's specifiedoperating pressure.

7.1.37 All equipment used to inspect, test or examine material or other equipmentshall be identified, controlled, calibrated and adjusted at specified intervalsin accordance with documented manufacturer's instructions, and shall beconsistent with referenced industry standards to maintain the accuracyrequired by this specification.

7.1.38 Dimensional measuring equipment shall be controlled and calibrated by themethods specified in MIL-STD-120 to maintain the accurancies specified byAPI and the manufacturer's specification. Dimensional measuringequipment not covered by MIL-STD-120 shall be controlled and calibratedin accordance with the manufacturer's writtenspecification.

7.1.51 One hundred percent of all pressure containing welds shall be examined byeither radiography, ultrasonic or acoustic emission methods after all weldingand post-weld heat treatment. All repair welds where the repair is greaterthan 25 percent of the original wall thickness or 1 inch (whichever is less)shall be examined by either radiography, ultrasonic or acoustic emissionmethods after all welding and post-weld heat treatment. Examinations shallinclude at least 1/2- inch of adjacent base material on all sides of the welds.
