£1.2 million investment at Littledown Centre to create bigger and better fitness facilities

New gym extension, fitness studios and increased car parking spaces

We are pleased to announce plans, in partnership with Bournemouth Borough Council, to invest £1.2 million into the Littledown Centre to build a larger gym, create two additional fitness studios and increase car parking. In addition to the building works, which is being funded in partnership with Bournemouth Borough Council, BH Live will be also investing over £500K towards new state of the art gym equipment.

A planning application has been submitted to:

• Extend the gym from 528m2 to 969m2

• Convert offices into a large multipurpose fitness studio (which could be partitioned into two separate activity spaces)

• Create over 100 additional car parking

spaces through improved landscaping

and removing excess shrubbery.

Subject to planning, the investment would begin in late Summer 2014 and be completed late Spring 2015. Plans for the gym extension and fitness studios will be on display in the Littledown Centre and also on www.littledowncentre.co.uk.
